New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Applied) Level 3

Programme Overview:

New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Applied) Level 3 is a 16 weeks programme designed for all types of students from beginner to intermediate level. This certificate facilitates meeting the language requirements for other study or training programmes/courses at New Zealand Qualifications Framework Level 4 or below. To complete this programme students need to achieve 60 credits.

Programme Aim:

The aim of this programme is to enable learners language development in 3 applied settings: academic, community and/or employment.

Learners will gain an awareness of New Zealand's social norms and academic and societal expectations in order to facilitate natural communication with the resident population and employment sector stakeholders.

$5600 (16 weeks Tuition Fee)
$300 Enrolment Fee
$200 Administration Fee
$300 Health insurance 6 months

The tuition fee is NZ$380 p/w for course duration less than 16 weeks.
Students are not eligible to receive certificates for the course less than 16 weeks.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years
Completion of Level 3 NZCEL (General), OR
The applicant needs to have an overall IELTS proficiency level in Academic English of 5.0, OR
An acceptable score from an NZQA approved International English Language Testing System, OR
Equivalent as assessed through NCBT English Language Placement test
