Accommodation and Arrival Services

  • NCBT provides students with a free airport pick up and accommodation placement service.
  • Students are required to send their flight itinerary at least 2 weeks prior to departure from their home country. A payment of NZ$150 will be incurred if either of the service requested prior to arrival is not availed post arrival.
  • Commonly used accommodation types are flatting and homestays. Flatting is where students live together and share the cost of rental and day to day expenses including groceries, water/electricity bills and internet.   • Homestay is living with a host family coming from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Homestay accommodation prices are generally inclusive of rent and 2 meals.
  • For accommodation options and requests specific to students, you are requested to email admissions@ncbt.ac.nz
  • Students must agree to abide by the rules of the host family and NCBT. Where a student decides to terminate the accommodation, notice of two weeks must be given. Host family cannot be held liable for personal injury or loss of life. All students must be medically insured.
  • One week’s accommodation is seven days and seven nights. The minimum initial stay is two weeks.
