Graduates Club 

Hello and welcome to your own network of former friends and colleagues from your days at NCBT.  We have established this forum for you so that you may maintain contact, exchange ideas, interact with each other, meet new people, and broadcast opportunities among yourselves.  Please make use of this resource.  If you have any suggestions on how we can improve this service, let us know!  We hope this environment will maximize your relationship with NCBT – we have pleasure in being a part of this new association.

Events / Social

The last big event was our NCBT Alumni Party in October.  With over 250 people present, it made for the biggest party yet.  Social events, speeches, music, dancing and food made it a very special celebration.  Check out the photos in the gallery.  With numbers growing fast at the college, grad parties will continue to be a main event on our calendar.  Keep abreast of when the next one is, and secure your invitation.

Student Employment Stories – We would love to post your story.  If you wish to share your NZ business experience send us a short email telling us what position you are working in and what company you are at.  It makes for interesting reading.

Story from Sethuravi Jegadeesan – October 2004 DIC student. 

I have been in NZ for 4 years and am very happy living here.  At home in Southern India, I studied textiles, and then worked in this field.  Upon my arrival in NZ, and after my NCBT studies, I started working with Parisian Ties.  My experience from home helped me a lot and my boss was a lovely person to work with.  I gained my PR through this role and stayed with the company for 2 years after gaining PR.  Recently I started working with Sky TV.  I love working there – it is a great company with good prospects, a large workforce (400+) and a future.  The workforce is very multi-cultural and friendly.  I am in sales – and if you need to get Sky at your house, I am the guy to talk to!!!
